NeuronUP participates in an international congress on health and new technologies
The Rioja company, NeuronUP, dedicated to the neurorehabilitation of people with brain damage, has been selected to participate in the MIHealth Forum. This is a unique congress in the world that will bring together the best specialists and researchers in the field of health and new technologies applied to clinical management. This event will take place on 24 and 25 May, in Barcelona.
NeuronUP has been selected as one of the projects to be presented as “innovation capsules” in the category of Technologies for the transformation of the health system. This format was designed by the congress to show the most innovative initiatives and projects that are currently being developed in the socio-health field.
Here, NeuronUP will present its digital platform, made up of more than 6,000 exercises, games and simulators that allow the exercise of cognitive functions such as attention, memory, language or orientation; and daily life activities, such as withdrawing money from an ATM, getting dressed or putting food in the fridge.
Each one of the exercises contained in NeuronUP is elaborated by neuropsychologists and is exclusively aimed at professionals, who can personalize the exercises according to the needs of each patient and design their own activities using the images, generators and tools available in the system.
Neurorehabilitation resources for the treatment of:
- Dementias (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s).
- Acquired brain damage (head trauma, brain tumours, strokes…).
- Adaptive psychological disorders.
- ADHD.
- Developmental and learning disorders.
- Normal aging.
With barely five months on the market, some of the main centers dedicated to neurorehabilitation -such as the Spanish Federation of Cerebral Damage or the Menni Network- already use NeuronUP in their treatments.
